Doc Society launches 2026 Climate Story Fund call for applications
Our friends at Doc Society have launched the most recent Climate Story Fund call for applications, supporting powerful storytelling and impact strategies that help audiences envision the just transition and activate them to make these visions a reality.
Deadline: July 6, 2026, 2 PM BST
Support for 6–8 projects with grants of USD $40,000–$125,000 for production and impact costs.
Who can apply?
Filmmakers and audiomakers from anywhere in the world
Both emerging and established artistsCreative nonfiction projects (feature-length, shorts, episodic docs, podcasts, radio docs) in late production
Applicants interested in implementing a social impact strategy and committed to attending the required Virtual Impact Lab
This cycle, the Climate Story Fund is particularly keen to support non-fiction short films at any stage and encourages filmmakers working in this format to apply.
