The 74th Berlinale will feature a Chilean participation from 15 to 21 February.
The festival lineup includes the feature film Oasis, directed by Tamara Uribe and Felipe Morgado, showcased in the Forum section, and the experimental short Towards the Sun, Far from the Center, directed by Luciana Merino and Pascal Viveros, featured in the Berlinale Shorts category. The documentaries offer insights into Chile’s societal challenges and urban landscapes, respectively.
Furthermore, at Berlinale, Carola Fuentes of La Ventana Cine represents Chile’s documentary production at the festival, signalling the potential for international co-productions and the global appeal of Chilean storytelling.
